  • GaDOE SND Website – Development & Learning
    The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) School Nutrition Division (SND) website provides a variety of learning opportunities and training resources, including recorded webinars, on-demand training, videos, and online courses in the Canvas Learning Management System.

  • Institute of Child Nutrition
    The Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN) iLearn training portal provides free online training courses coded for Professional Standards. The ICN also offers a variety of education and training resources, face-to-face group training, and virtual group training opportunities for school nutrition programs. 

  • School Nutrition Association
    The School Nutrition Association (SNA) offers live professional development events and on-demand and self-paced training courses educational and professional training that meets Professional Standards and are also approved for SNA certification and credentialing. 

  • SNA Professional Standards Training Guidelines (January 2021)
    These recommended guidelines were developed by SNA to be used when planning training programs. The guidelines include the USDA Professional Standards Learning Objectives, organized by key area, linked to specific codes. These training guidelines also include Additional Professional Standards Training Codes (organized by key area) as a quick reference guide.


  • USDA Guide to Professional Standards for School Nutrition Programs
    This is a central resource that comprehensively outlines the USDA Professional standards requirements for state and local school nutrition program professionals who manage and operate the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP). The Guide also includes training reward badges – a fun way to promote training and recognize staff who have completed their annual training requirements. 

  • USDA Professional Standards Training Tracker Tool (PSTTT)
    The USDA child nutrition program’s Professional Standard Training Tracking Tool (PSTTT) is designed to assist school nutrition professionals in keeping track of their annually required training hours. The PSTTT is a voluntary and free web-based tool that provides easy navigation and user-friendly timesaving features.
