Seamless Summer Option Training

PART 2: Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM REGISTER
This session will include requirements for the implementation of SSO, including the meal pattern, meal counting and claiming, monitoring, and outreach.
PART 1: Wednesday, March 13, 2024 RECORDING
This session will include an overview of the program, a discussion of the eligibility requirements to participate, and updates on the flexibilities for rural non-congregate meal service.

Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Training
The CEP session hosted on January 24, 2024, provided an overview, the requirements to participate, and information needed to determine if CEP is a financially feasible option for your program. In this session, we will build on the previous training and will provide the steps to successfully implement and operate CEP. The content is specifically designed for districts that plan to operate CEP in School Year 2025.

Menu Planner Workshop

Designed to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources to develop menus that appeal to students. During these interactive sessions, attendees will learn menu planning strategies to create balanced, nutritious menus incorporating variety and seasonality. The workshop series includes discussions surrounding procurement, menu planning, production, and utilizing standardized recipes to build confident kitchen teams.​ The training will be offered in 3 parts. Each session will be 1.5 hours in length. To participate, please register for each session via the links below.
